dc.descriptionImplantology is a fascinating field because the subject is still new, much less a branch of dentistry. It involves a relationship determined by the stomatognathic system and the oral system, since the implant placed must withstand the forces of occlusal trauma. The ultimate goal of implantology is undoubtedly to achieve an implant with optimal conditions for stable physiological retention. The implant is another element that must be used correctly. It is necessary to understand the patient, the indications for the implant, and the correct execution if you do not want a well-executed implant to become a failure.
dc.description.abstractLa implantología es un campo fascinante porque el tema es aún nuevo y mucho menos de las ramas de la odontología, conlleva a una relación determinada por el sistema estomatognático sistema oral, ya que el implante que se haga debe aguantar fuerzas de traumatismo oclusal. El objetivo máximo de implantología es sin duda llegar a la obtención de un tipo de implante en condiciones óptimas de retención fisiológica estable. El implante es un elemento más que hay que saber utilizar, hay que conocer el paciente, las indicaciones del implante y la correcta ejecución si no se quiere que un implante aunque bien ejecutado se transforme en un fracaso.
