La prótesis parcial removible es el resultado de unos procedimientos de diagnóstico cuidadosos, Ios cuales empiezan cuando paciente examinado, para seguir propiamente de con la preparación dicha boca y de Ios dientes que sean precisos, Ias impresiones, los modelos, el montaje cuidadoso en un articulador adecuadamente seleccionado, para terminar con el diseño exacto efectuado por el profesional.
Es una estructura artificial que reemplaza uno o varios dientes faltantes, y se sujeta a los dientes naturales restantes mediante ganchos u otros sistemas de anclaje. Está diseñada para restaurar la función de masticación y la estética, ofreciendo una solución más accesible que otros tratamientos como los implantes. Pueden ser de estructura metálica (convencionales) o de resina flexible (PFlex) y se usan para devolver el equilibrio y soporte a la boca.

A removable partial denture is the result of careful diagnostic procedures, which begin with the examination of the patient, followed by the preparation of the mouth and the required teeth, impressions, models, careful fitting in a properly selected articulator, and culminating in the exact design created by the professional.
It is an artificial structure that replaces one or more missing teeth and is attached to the remaining natural teeth using clasps or other anchoring systems. It is designed to restore chewing function and aesthetics, offering a more affordable solution than other treatments such as implants. They can be made of metal (conventional) or flexible resin (PFlex) and are used to restore balance and support to the mouth.
