Methodology: An intervention study was conducted with kindergarten students (ages 5-8). An oral health education workshop was implemented for parents, and a six-question survey was administered to assess their level of knowledge. Clinical records were completed for eighty-one children, and they were provided with toothbrushes. Subsequently, they were taught the sweeping brushing technique using a macro model. The daily brushing routine was established and supervised every fifteen days by the researchers, who also took the Simplified Oral Hygiene Index. Ninety-six children who met the selection criteria were included in the study. At the end of the year, changes in the DMFT, dmft, Simplified Oral Hygiene Index, and number of healthy permanent teeth were evaluated. Results: The Simplified Oral Hygiene Index (SHI) started with an average of 1.8 ± 0.41 (fair) and ended at 0.8 ± 0.27 (fair). The DMFT index remained stable throughout the period. The dmft index increased, starting with an average of 2.6 ± 2.93 (low) and ending at 2.9 ± 2.89 (intermediate), but the difference was not significant. The number of healthy permanent teeth in the first examination was 22, and in the second examination, it increased to 51. Conclusion: The Incremental Oral Health Program is effective through the implementation of a daily brushing routine, as it successfully maintained stable DMFT and dmft indices, thus decreasing the SHI, dental caries, and gingivitis.
