Porcelain is a brittle material with plastic behavior; it acts like a spring, and to provide strength, it is used as an intermediate base with a resin composite, in addition to the adhesive. Tooth preparation is done conventionally with walls that diverge slightly toward the occlusal surface to provide eruption, without creating a bevel to avoid fracture of the restoration. This restoration must be cemented with a light-cured hybrid resin called Dual.El presente trabajo ha sido realizado con el objetivo de informarles a sus lectores de una manera breve pero minuciosa, las características de las incrustaciones en porcelana. La porcelana es un material frágil y tiene una conducta plástica, actúa como un resorte y para dar resistencia se utiliza como una base intermedia con compuesto de resina, además del adhesivo. La preparación del diente se hace de manera convencional con paredes ligeramente divergentes hacia oclusal para brindar expulsividad sin diseñar bisel para evitar la fractura de la restauración.
