Since with this we are in a position to design a practical and investigative model in our profession. The work was oriented towards a global analysis of: the National Health System, Sectional, Regional and Local Level; later the Oral Health program was observed in 1982 and starting from this, a series of proposals were developed for 1983 with the objective of changing the Oral Health situation of the defined area of ​​influence of Center No. 1 (Olaya); finally, an evaluation of this programming was made.Siendo conscientes de la importancia que amerita el conocimiento claro y profundo de la situación de salud nacional, hemos tornado con el interés debido, la oportunidad brindada por parte de la Universidad y más concretamente por la catedra de Salud Pública adquirida en el transcurso de nuestra carrera, con el objetivo de conocer en detalle la organización del Sistema Nacional de Salud y en forma especial del Departamento de Salud Oral, ocasión única existente en nuestro organismo académico, que nos permite hacer el diagnóstico de la situación actual y futura de Salud Oral a nivel local. Ya que con ello nos encontramos en condiciones de diseñar un modelo practico e investigativo en nuestra profesión.
