It is important to guide and inform dentists, especially recent graduates selected for their mandatory rural social service in a hospital, about their role as healthcare professionals within the program for the promotion, prevention, and management of childhood diseases with oral manifestations in children aged 0 to 5 years. This will allow them to become an integral and indispensable part of the activities carried out by their institution.La investigación pretende dar a conocer tanto a estudiantes como a docentes del Colegio Universitario Colombiano, el desempeño del odontólogo a nivel hospitalario, en cuanto a promoción, prevención y manejo de patologías infantiles con manifestaciones orales en niños de 0 a 5 años a nivel hospitalario.
