Method: 35 recently extracted single-rooted teeth. Access cavities were prepared and patency checked with a size 10 K-file. Working lengths were determined. The canals were prepared to a size 25 K-file using a ProTaper rotary technique up to the F3 instrument. 5.25% sodium hypochlorite was used as an irrigant, and the canals were obturated using a lateral condensation technique. The negative control group was obturated with gutta-percha and without sealer. The first experimental group was obturated with TopSeal cement, and the second group with RoekoSeal cement. Coronal sealing was performed using glass ionomer. A transverse section was performed, and three 1 mm thick slices were taken: apical (at 3 mm), middle (at 4 mm), and cervical (at 4 mm). These were then observed under SEM at 300X and 3000X magnification coronally. Results: Significant differences were found between the cement and the three dentin-dentin interface (ANOVA, P = 0.008). TopSeal cement achieved the best results, with average scores of 3.933 in the apical third, 3.433 in the middle third, and 3.533 in the cervical third. Conclusions: Within the limitations of this in vitro study, TopSeal cement exhibited better adhesion at the cement-dentin interface, making it a viable alternative for clinical practice.
