There are many explanations about the morphology and coupling of upper and lower anterior teeth and also their role in horizontal and vertical overbite, but not much emphasis had been placed on their function in the dynamics of mandibular movements. Consulting several authors and applying the study of several clinical cases from my student practice, I give as an example some of the methods by which the attachment of the anterior teeth is achieved, and also the vital function of mandibular movements.Este tema a pesar de haber sido discutido con bastantes proyecciones, tal vez nunca había recibido la atención necesaria, que hoy en día se le está prestando. Existen muchas explicaciones sobre la morfología y el acople de dientes anteriores superiores e inferiores y así mismo su papel en la sobremordida de tipo horizontal y vertical, pero no se había hecho mucho énfasis sobre su función en la dinámica de los movimientos mandibulares.
