This work is based on two craniomandibular diagnoses of a patient with a habit of mouth breathing. To obtain a better prognosis and provide treatment alternatives, consultations were held with specialists in orthodontics and maxillofacial surgery, incorporating multidisciplinary treatments that have become increasingly important. This approach strengthens the classic interaction between preventive approaches and conservative dental treatments, periodontal aspects, and prosthetic rehabilitations, further enhanced by the inclusion of oral surgery.La respiración nasal es fundamental para el correcto desarrollo craneofacial ya que el paso de aire por las fosas nasales es un estímulo para el desarrollo espacial de dichas fosas, que se relacionan íntimamente con el maxilar superior, el techo de la boca. Este trabajo está basado en dos diagnósticos craneomandibulares de un paciente que presenta hábito de respiración oral. Para obtener un mejor pronóstico y dar alternativas de tratamiento se realizaron interconsultas con especialistas en ortodoncia y cirugía maxilofacial con tratamientos multidisciplinarios que han ido cobrando cada vez mayor protagonismo. De esta forma, la clásica interacción entre planteamientos preventivos y tratamientos dentarios conservadores, aspectos periodontales y rehabilitaciones protésicas.
