It is important to offer treatments that allow the patient to benefit from a fixed prosthesis since it restores function and aesthetics without injuring the adjacent soft tissues. The main objectives of a fixed restoration are functionality, retention, support, stability, fixation, health and aesthetics. Among the important aspects and factors that a fixed partial prosthesis can provide, we find that it restores or balances the components of the cranio-mandibular system and its functions of chewing, phonation and swallowing, among others.La prótesis parcial fija es uno de los tipos de rehabilitación protésica más solicitado por los pacientes que han perdido una o varias piezas dentales. es importante ofrecer tratamientos que permitan brindar al paciente los beneficios, una prótesis fija puesto que devuelve la función y la estética sin lesionar los tejidos blandos adyacentes. Los objetivos principales de una restauración fija, son la funcionalidad, la retención, el soporte, la estabilidad, la fijación, la salud y la estética.
