It is very common to see patients with serious systemic problems in dental offices, and as we have seen, these often affect dental treatment. It is important to emphasize the need for careful planning of the procedures to be followed. The interactions between medicine and dentistry will be examined in detail, including specific diseases, appropriate recommendations, and the specific protocol for dental management. We must always keep in mind that we are dealing with a systemically affected patient. This includes all patients in whom a pathology could be exacerbated by our procedures, potentially endangering the patient's life.Una de las características o cualidades del odontólogo es aplicar las técnicas correctas y tener conocimientos y habilidades manuales especiales que requieren todas y cada una de las maniobras odontológicas.
