Generally, tooth loss occurs due to the presence of caries or periodontal disease; recently, dentoalveolar trauma has been involved as an etiological factor in the loss of dental structures and injuries to adjacent tissues, becoming a public health problem. For this reason, [it focuses on] the epidemiology of dentoalveolar trauma in the postgraduate Endodontics clinic of the Colombian Dental College.Este estudio pretende conocer el perfil epidemiológico del trauma Dentoalveolar en pacientes atendidos en la clínica de postgrado de Endodoncia del Colegio Odontológico Colombiano entre 1997 - I semestre del 2003, mediante la evaluación de las Historias Clínicas.
