Currently, the emotional and financial needs of the patient, as well as their general health, are extremely important factors in the treatment plan. There is no doubt that occlusal rehabilitation has changed rapidly in recent years and continues to do so, due to the new focus the profession has given from the restoration of individual teeth to a focus on the broader treatment of the mouth as a whole. Currently, emphasis has been placed on the mouth as a functional unit, and many dentists apply this advice in their private practice.Durante los últimos años se ha despertado mucho interés por un plan de tratamiento más completo en los pacientes con problemas orales. Antes la imagen del odontólogo, era la de un practico que solo se ocupaba de los problemas dentales obvios del paciente, cuando resultaba una lesión cariosa, se restauraba.
