Therefore, this research aims to provide a more in-depth look at the intentional replantation technique, its methodology, and its successes, taking into account several studies conducted by renowned authors in this field. It also presents several cases performed at the Colombian Dental College to determine its status. The intentional replantation technique will be presented as an alternative to traditional endodontics and conventional apical surgery, suitable for maintaining the largest number of teeth in the patient's mouth and making this task easier for the operator, as it allows for the treatment of teeth with endodontic compromises that are apparently insurmountable or that, due to their characteristics, have a reserved prognosis.A pesar que la reimplantación intencional no es una técnica nueva pues se tienen datos de su utilización desde hace más de mil años, no ha tenido una gran difusión, por lo que la presente investigación pretende mostrar un poco más a fondo la técnica de reimplantación intencional, su metodología y sus éxitos teniendo en cuenta varias investigaciones realizadas por reconocidos autores en esta materia y dar a conocer varios casos realizados en el Colegio Odontológico Colombiano para determinar su estado.
