Methods: An electronic search of the literature was performed using the following electronic databases: MEDLINE via PubMed and EBSCO for research articles published up to November 2021, publications in English and Spanish were included, where randomized controlled clinical trials were reviewed, reports of cases, systematic reviews and meta-analyses; Surgical techniques were described in them for the modification of the periodontal phenotype, augmentation or modification of the peri-implant soft tissues of single implants in the upper anterior sector. Results: 23 studies were identified that described surgical techniques for the modification of the peri-implant phenotype. The search yielded 8 surgical techniques: palatal sliding strip flap technique (1 study), free gingival graft (4 studies), apically positioned flap (3 studies), coronally displaced flap with connective tissue graft (7 studies), wraparound flap in roll (3 studies), trap door (2 studies), tunnel (1 study), modified tunnel (1 study). Métodos: Se realizó una búsqueda electrónica de la literatura utilizando las siguientes bases de datos electrónicas: MEDLINE vía PubMed y EBSCO para artículos de investigación publicados hasta noviembre de 2021, se incluyeron publicaciones en inglés y español, donde se revisaron ensayos clínicos controlados aleatorizados, reportes de casos, revisiones sistemáticas y metaanálisis; en ellos se describieron técnicas quirúrgicas para la modificación del fenotipo periodontal, aumento o modificación de los tejidos blandos periimplantares de implantes únicos en el sector anterior superior. Resultados: Se identificaron 23 estudios que describieron técnicas quirúrgicas para la modificación del fenotipo peri-implantar. La búsqueda arrojó 8 técnicas quirúrgicas: técnica de colgajo de tira deslizante palatina (1 estudio), injerto gingival libre (4 estudios), colgajo posicionado apical (3 estudios), colgajo desplazado coronal con injerto de tejido conectivo (7 estudios), colgajo envolvente en rollo (3 estudios), trap door (2 estudios), túnel (1 estudio), túnel modificado (1 estudio).
