This research seeks to know the feasibility of installing a vertical farm to produce vegetables and export. The vertical farm is an innovative way to grow crops, as it saves space by using vertical crop systems and implements different technologies to be able to efficiently control different key crop factors, also eliminating the use of insecticides and pesticides as crops are grown in a closed environment throughout the production process. For the selection of the products to be cultivated, a qualitative research was carried out where it was looked for which type of crops are more recurrent in other vertical farms in the Americas and later a quantitative research was carried out to select only two of them; on the other hand for the selection of the destination country a quantitative investigation where the import data of the products mentioned above were taken and a matrix of potential international markets was realized for the first three countries of each product, In this way, Canada was defined as the destination country, finally, the cubicle and transport quotation of the merchandise was made to know its viability.Hoy en día el sector agricultor presenta varios problemas a nivel mundial como lo son la poca infraestructura vial y el cambio climático, lo anterior sumado al aumento poblacional acelerado que se prevé continúe esta tendencia, se espera que la demanda de alimentos aumente y se tenga mayor dificultad para suplirla. Con esta investigación se busca conocer la factibilidad de instalar una granja vertical para producir vegetales y realizar su exportación. La granja vertical es una manera innovadora de realizar cultivos, ya que ahorra espacio al usar sistemas de cultivos verticales y también implementa diferentes tecnologías para poder controlar de manera eficiente diferentes factores claves de los cultivos, también se elimina el uso de insecticidas y plaguicidas ya que los cultivos se realizan en un entorno cerrado durante todo el proceso de producción.
