For this reason, the history and evolution of new technologies in the market such as NFT and blockchain were taken as a reference, as well as the historical background of cybersecurity failures in companies of the Colombian health sector. Additionally, the viability of these technologies in the health sector as a solution for a transparent, reliable, and immutable health system is observed. The impact that this work seeks to generate is the approach and greater knowledge about the benefits that the use and application of the blockchain system would bring to the Colombian health system, since, as evidenced this could: improve accessibility to medical information, user care channels, management of the supply chain of medicines, digital identity and information technologies with immutable systems and greater security.El presente artículo de investigación tiene como objetivo el realizar un análisis cualitativo y cuantitativo de la tecnología blockchain para determinar la viabilidad de su aplicación en el sistema de salud colombiano. Por este motivo, se tuvo como referencia la historia y evolución de las nuevas tecnologías en el mercado como lo son los NFT y el blockchain, así como los antecedentes históricos de fallas en la ciberseguridad en compañías del sector salud colombiano. Adicionalmente, se observa la viabilidad de estas tecnologías en el sector salud como solución para que haya un sistema de salud transparente, confiable e inmutable.
