The general objective was to analyze, according to the hospital's administration, a historical trend regarding the shift from supply-side to demand-side subsidies, specifically concerning the financial movements of income and expenses incurred in the years 1994, 1995, and 1996. Using a linear model, these figures were projected to the year 2001, when the hospital was expected to be operating as a State Social Enterprise, becoming economically self-sufficient. Based on the projections, we concluded that the "San Francisco" Hospital could become self-sufficient by implementing appropriate billing and accounting procedures for services, thus improving productivity and using the information provided by the hospital administration. "Finally, we provide the hospital's management with tools for judgment, to allow them to have a clearer vision of its operation in 2001."En vista de lo reciente de la normatividad legal de la ley 100 de 1993 y decretos el Hospital “San ubicado en el municipio de Gacheta (Cundinamarca), nivel II de atención, teniendo en cuenta su baja concentración poblacional y su alto índice de necesidades básicas insatisfechas. El objetivo general pretendió analizar de acuerdo administración del hospital, una tendencia histórica acerca de el cambio del subsidio a la oferta la subsidio a la demanda, acerca de los movimientos financieros de ingresos y egresos causados en los anos 1994, 1995 y 1996. Por medio de un modelo lineal se proyectaron estos rubros al ano 2001, cuando el hospital deberá estar funcionando como Empresa Social del Estado, siendo autosuficientes económicamente.
