As a developing country, Colombia has remained mired in a continuous lack of information regarding the constitutional norms that should have been instilled from the school stage and that are still not being fulfilled as required by Article 42 of the Political Constitution of Colombia, which establishes it as a basic area of ​​teaching in all educational institutions. The aim is to identify and disseminate the Political Constitution of Colombia to the entire oral health sector community, inviting them not only to learn the norms that govern us, but also to raise awareness of the need to utilize laws for the benefit of both the patient and the professional.Esta investigación no solo es interesante por la importancia del tema en el diario vivir de todo individuo perteneciente a una comunidad colombiana, sino por el deseo de ampliar conocimientos en el área de la salud, básicos para hacer valer los derechos y deberes basados en la ética profesional. Colombia como país subdesarrollado han permanecido sumido en una continua desinformación acerca de las normas constitucionales que han debido ser inculcadas desde la etapa escolar y que aún no se cumplen como lo exige el articulo No. 42 de la constitución política de Colombia, estableciendo la como área básica de enseñanza en toda institución educativa.
