Methodology: A scoping review was conducted following the Arksey and O'Malley, JBI, and PRISMA-ScR frameworks. The research question was: What strategies have been reported in the literature to overcome barriers to access comprehensive care for patients with cleft lip and palate (CLP)? The protocol was registered with the Open Science Framework. A systematic search was conducted in PubMed, Embase, Scopus, and gray literature, with no date limits, in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. A total of 296 records were identified. Four researchers independently applied PCC criteria. After selection, 8 articles were included. Data were extracted using standardized templates and synthesized narratively and thematically. Results: Of 296 identified records, eight studies were included. The strategies mapped were technological (telemedicine, SMS), community (surgical explorers), organizational (nurse navigators), and legal (protection actions). These addressed geographic, economic, and informational barriers, demonstrating benefits such as cost reduction, improved continuity of care, increased surgeries, and greater equity in access, especially in pediatric and vulnerable populations in low- and middle-income countries. However, the long-term sustainability of some initiatives depends on external funding and institutional strengthening. Conclusions: Strategies improve comprehensive access to cleft lip and palate care, primarily in vulnerable populations.Objetivo: Sintetizar y caracterizar las estrategias reportadas en la literatura que abordan las barreras de acceso a la atención integral de pacientes con labio y paladar hendido a nivel mundial. Método: Se realizó una revisión de alcance (scoping review) siguiendo el marco de Arksey y O'Malley, JBI, PRISMA-ScR. La pregunta de investigación fue: ¿Qué estrategias han sido reportadas en la literatura para superar las barreras de acceso a la atención integral de pacientes con labio y paladar hendido (LPH)? El protocolo se registró en Open Science Framework. Se ejecutó una búsqueda sistemática en PubMed, Embase, Scopus y literatura gris, sin límites de fecha, en inglés, español y portugués. Se identificaron 296 registros. Cuatro investigadores aplicaron criterios PCC de forma independiente. Tras la selección, se incluyeron 8 artículos. Los datos se extrajeron mediante plantillas estandarizadas y se sintetizaron de forma narrativa y temática. Resultados: De 296 registros identificados, se incluyeron 8 estudios. Las estrategias mapeadas fueron tecnológicas (telemedicina, SMS), comunitarias (exploradores quirúrgicos), organizativas (enfermeras navegadoras) y legales (acciones de tutela). Estas abordaron barreras geográficas, económicas e informativas, demostrando beneficios como la reducción de costos, mejora en la continuidad del cuidado, aumento de cirugías y mayor equidad en el acceso, especialmente en poblaciones pediátricas y vulnerables de países de ingresos bajos y medios. Aunque la sostenibilidad a largo plazo de algunas iniciativas depende de financiamiento externo y fortalecimiento institucional.
