We are surprised to find that the percentage of dentists licensed by the Health Department is very low. Currently, in Bogotá, there are only 3,385 licensed general dentists. Therefore, we want to simplify the licensing process for recent graduates or those who have been hesitant to obtain their license due to fear. We will consider Resolution 1043 of 2006, the previous regulation, which was unclear regarding the application of quality standards for dentistry and led to confusion. This resolution will not be valid for healthcare professionals who make changes before May 31, 2014, or who obtain their license for the first time. The new resolution that will come into effect will be resolution 1441 of May 6, 2013, reviewing the way it was created gives more ease to really know what to apply to the authorization of Dental Offices including the sterilization area and low complexity radiology and imaging.Este caso gerencial lo queremos realizar para analizar las falencias en la habilitación para Consultorios Odontológicos ya que vemos con extrañeza quo es muy poco el porcentaje de Odontólogos habilitados ante la secretaria de Salud actualmente a nivel Bogotá son 3.385 Odontólogos generales habilitados, razón por la cual queremos facilitar la tramitología de los recién egresados o a las personas que por el miedo a habilitarse no lo han realizado. Tendremos en cuenta la resolución 1043 de 2006 que era la anterior la cual no era muy clara para la aplicación de los estándares de calidad para Odontología y se prestaba para confusiones a la hora de aplicarlos, para profesionales de salud que realicen cambios antes del 31 de mayo del 2014 o se habiliten por primera vez carecer de validez.
