This project analyzes the impact of the decisions of the Commission and the Court, and the supervision of compliance with the judgment. Content will be divided into four chapters that aim to identify the impact of the decisions issued by the Inter-American Court of Human Rights within the state, generally explained under a socio-legal investigation, which is descriptive with a proactive analytical approach. Different cases and their impacts will be analyzed, as well as cases submitted to the Court together with the analysis of the effectiveness of the supervision of compliance with the judgment. It can be concluded that the decisions issued by the Commission and the Court fulfill their purpose of defending human rights. As you will see in the different stages of the work, all the mechanisms that make up the Inter-American System act as a guarantee of the adequate restoration of rights to victims and adequate compensation for violated rights.Los derechos humanos han estado en constante evolución, en un proceso donde la humanidad ha venido reconociendo sus derechos y defendiéndolos con ayuda de organizaciones internacionales como la OEA y órganos autónomos como la Corte Interamericana de derechos Humanos y la Comisión IDH. En este documento se analiza el impacto de las decisiones de la Comisión y la Corte Interamericana, así como la supervisión de cumplimiento de las sentencias. En esa medida, mediante tres capítulos se identifica el impacto de las decisiones del Sistema Interamericano de Derechos Humanos al interior de un estado, particularmente Colombia, explicados bajo una investigación socio-jurídica, la cual es descriptiva, con un enfoque analítico y propositivo.
