It is no secret that dental amalgams contain mercury in liquid form, and that metals containing nickel, chromium, cobalt, among others, can intoxicate the body, leading it to disease states. Physicians require dentists to eliminate all these toxic substances from patients’ mouths, replacing them with materials of better biological compatibility, because many treatments performed by them fail due to the presence of such interferences. This does not mean that dentistry will become different; it only changes the way different treatments are approached. Odontology Neurofocal is a science oriented to the relationship between the teeth and the different organs of the human body through the nervous system. For example, the anterior teeth are directly related to the urogenital tract, and any interference in this area can cause problems such as infertility, impotence, and vaginal discharge; while the posterior teeth are related to the gastrointestinal and respiratory systems, leading to allergies, colon problems, and back pain when they are interfered with.
