For this reason, the dental management of these patients requires comprehensive and careful attention due to the high risk they represent in the dental setting. This paper presents the clinical case of a patient treated at the Integrated Adult Clinic for tenth-semester students, in whom a comprehensive evaluation and an interdisciplinary treatment plan focused on their oral and systemic needs were performed.La diabetes mellitus es una enfermedad sistémica que puede generar diversas alteraciones en la cavidad oral, como enfermedad periodontal, caries dental, xerostomía y candidiasis, afectando la salud y calidad de vida del paciente.
