METHOD: Case series of patients attending orthodontic treatment at the UNICOC Clinic in orthodontic postgraduate who met the following criteria: age between 12 and 70 years, of both genders, with mixed dentition, who were undergoing orthodontic treatment, who had agreed to participate in the study and signed informed consent. Patients who were smokers, with periodontal disease, systemic diseases, pregnant women and with oral hygiene deficiency, determined by a bacterial plaque control greater than 15%, patients who have calcium deficiency and are consuming bisphosphonates. The mini-implants were activated by using elastics, metal ligature, elastic chains and elastic thread; Treatment follow-up was carried out from August 2008 until October 2010 RESULTS: For the first case, tooth 23 included was initially observed in position horizontal and in the last crown record of tooth 23 at the level of the apical middle third with respect to tooth 22; in the second case of tooth 11, included in a mesoangulated position and for the final registration the crown of tooth 11 was observed clinically; for case three, clinically absence of the crown of tooth 47, in the last record part was already observed of the crown of the tooth; four case tooth 37 in undereruption and in the final record the crown of 37 was observed and; in it Fifth case, the absence of teeth 45,46,47 was initially observed and in the final record the crown of tooth 46 and 47 was observed. CONCLUSIONS. Mini-implants are a simple, unconventional alternative for traction of impacted teeth, achieving total anchorage at different stages during orthodontic treatment..OBJETIVO: Describir las características clínicas y radiográficas de pacientes con dientes incluidos tratados con mini implantes. MÉTODO: Serie de casos, de pacientes que asisten a tratamiento ortodóncico en la Clínica UNICOC de postgrado de ortodoncia que cumplieran los siguientes criterios: edad entre los 12 a 70 años, de ambos géneros, con dentición mixta, que se encontraban en tratamiento de ortodoncia, que hubiesen aceptado participar en el estudio y firmado el consentimiento informado. Se excluyeron pacientes fumadores, con enfermedad periodontal, enfermedades sistémicas, gestantes y con deficiencia de higiene oral, determinada por un control de placa bacteriana superior al 15%,pacientes que presenten deficiencia de calcio y estén consumiendo bifosfonatos . Los mini implantes se activaron mediante el uso de elásticos, , ligadura metálica, cadenetas elasties e hilo elástico; el seguimiento al tratamiento se hizo a partir de Agosto de 2008 hasta Octubre de 2010. RESULTADOS: Para el primer caso se observó inicialmente el diente 23 incluido en posición horizontal y en el último registro corona del diente 23 a nivel del tercio medio apical respecto al diente 22; en el segundo caso diente 11, incluido en posición meso angulado y para el registro final la corona del diente 11 se observaba clínicamente; para el caso tres, clínicamente ausencia de la corona del diente 47, en el último registro ya se observó parte de la corona del diente ; cuatro caso diente 37 en infra erupción y en el registro final se observó la corona del 37 y; en el quinto caso, se observo inicialmente ausencia del 45,46,47 y en el registro final se observo corona del diente 46 y 47. CONCLUSIONES.
