Thirty single-rooted teeth were instrumented and irrigated with 5.25% sodium hypochlorite and obturated with gutta-percha and Grossman cement using lateral and deep vertical condensation techniques, except for five teeth (group A). ​​The teeth were then deobturated in groups of five at different levels: group A at 0 mm, group B at 4 mm, group C at 5 mm, group D at 6 mm, group E at 7 mm, and group F at 8 mm. Percolation was measured with the electronic apex locator for 30 days, and for the last 10 days, it was compared with a multimeter using an electrochemical test. A significant difference was observed between the sonar and the multimeter, with the former being less sensitive than the latter.El propósito de este estudio es proponer un nuevo método para la medición de la percolación marginal en dientes obturados con un localizador electrónico de ápice tipo resistencia y destormar su exactitud comparándolo con el método electroquímico.
