To begin this work, we explain what an osseointegrated implant is, since the definition many believe they know is either erroneous or insufficient. Once this term was known, we raised a series of points that we consider important and of great interest. As we researched each of them, we realized that we were not mistaken in choosing this topic. As we mentioned, there are significant gaps regarding osseointegrated implants, and it is our complete satisfaction to clarify many, if not all, of these doubts. Implants are a definitively successful alternative that promises to be the most appropriate for the patient, as they prevent PPF, the radical reshaping of healthy teeth; in PRP, they eliminate removable appliances, clasps, etc.La falta de información que existe en nuestro medio acerca de los implantes oseointegrados hace que este tema adquiera gran interés para nosotros y nos lleve a investigarlo. Para comenzar este trabajo explicamos que es un implante de oseointegración, ya que la definición que muchos creen saber es errónea o no es suficiente.
