No studies on the distribution of periodontal disease in the adult population have been conducted at the dental college. Therefore, it is necessary to implement a study on this topic, given the importance of understanding its prevalence, considering the variables involved. Furthermore, this study will serve as a reference point for future research on the diagnosis of this disease.Este estudio pretende determinar la distribución de la enfermedad periodontal en la población adulta atendida en las clínicas de postgrado de Periodoncia del Colegio Odontológico Colombiano semestre 02-2004.
