This resulted in the opportunity for the victims to be restored and to have access to information about their loved ones. In addition, for the perpetrators, the opportunity to redeem themselves, in addition to generating guarantees for their demobilization. Thus, through international intervention such as that carried out by the Inter-American Court of Human Rights in cases such as the Pueblo Bello Massacre, it was sought to determine the possible responsibility of the State in committing omissive conducts through which human rights were affected and, in turn, scenarios of impunity for the perpetrators were produced.Therefore, this research will address the scope of the supervisory mechanism for compliance with the judgment of the Inter-American Court, in light of the case of the Pueblo Bello Massacre v. Colombia.Históricamente en Colombia, el conflicto armado hizo necesaria la participación de diferentes organismos, tanto nacionales como internacionales, que, en búsqueda de proyectar paz, propendieron por restablecer la convivencia en ciertas zonas del país. Lo anterior, dando como resultado para las víctimas la oportunidad de que fueran restauradas y tuvieran acceso a información respecto de sus seres queridos. Además, para los victimarios, la oportunidad para redimirse, además de generar garantías para su desmovilización. Es así como, por medio de la intervención internacional como la realizada por la Corte Interamericana de Derechos Humanos en casos como la Masacre Pueblo Bello, se buscó determinar la posible responsabilidad del Estado al incurrir en conductas omisivas por medio de las cuales se generó afectaciones a derechos humanos y a su vez se produjeron escenarios de impunidad para los victimarios.
