At the beginning of this century, research began that would give Dentistry the ideal complement for treatment plans in patients with extensive edentulous areas. Its origin was based on the Removable Partial Prosthesis, and then evolved to what we know today as Precision and Semi-Precision Adjustments.Es nuestro objetivo, ofrecer un estudio claro sobre la fabricación de los ajustes, basado en las ultimas investigaciones Norteamericanas, para de esta manera poder aportar algo en la divulgación de esta materia - que a nivel de facultad, es bastante limitada y que por ende se convierta en el futuro como un habito cotidiano de nuestra practica privada. A comienzos del presente siglo, se iniciaron las investigaciones que darían a la Odontología el complemento ideal para los planes de tratamiento en pacientes con áreas desdentadas extensas.
