Ameloblastoma, a benign odontogenic tumor of epithelial origin, is deforming and aggressive, and can metastasize and, in some cases, recur. Keratocysts are tumors of the oral region that can originate from any pre-existing cyst, although their histological pattern differentiates them from other cysts. Odontogenic myxoma is a benign, aggressive mesenchymal tumor that can recur. The recurrence and aggressiveness of these pathologies highlight the importance of early diagnosis to prevent facial deformity in the patient, which will affect not only their function but also their appearance and emotional well-being. Taking these aspects into account, it is important to determine the best treatment, aimed at meeting all the patient's requirements.Conscientes en la importancia de un tratamiento adecuado, en aquellas patologías que pueden producir una deformidad facial y en consecuencia una alteración del sistema estomatognático, se recopiló la entonación necesaria, de algunas patologías que sin ser malignas pueden llegar a causar mucho daño en el sistema. El ameloblastoma, tumor odontógeno benigno de origen epitelial, deformante, agresivo, puede llegar a producir metástasis y en algunos casos recurrencia. El queratoquiste, tumor de la región bucal que puede originarse de cualquier quiste preexistente, teniendo en cuenta que el patrón histológico los diferencia de aquellos. El mixoma odontogénico, es un tumor mesenquimatoso, benigno agresivo y puede presentar recurrencia. La recurrencia y la agresividad de estas patologías nos hacen pensar en la importancia de un diagnóstico precoz y así poder evitar en el paciente una deformidad facial, la cual no solo va a afectar su función sino su estética y su estado emocional.
