Given this, and addressing the needs of the new millennium, the Colombian University College cannot help but lead the way in the systematization of medical records in the dental field. This project aims, through its implementation, to offer a final product that streamlines and optimizes the clinical services of the Colombian University College, facilitating and organizing the complete information of each patient. The project includes the complete and specific storage of medical records in a database that is easy and quick to update. Another benefit of the project is the availability of physical space that the Colombian University College will have. The systematization of medical records requires only small units, which, compared to the current storage and filing system, are minimal and incredibly convenient.Los avances tecnológicos en lo referente a sistematización de datos e información han alcanzado casi todos los campos de la vida humana. En virtud de esto y atendiendo las necesidades que requiere el nuevo milenio, el Colegio Universitario Colombiano no puede menos que liderar la sistematización de las historias clínicas en el campo odontológico. Este proyecto pretende con su implantación ofrecer un producto final que permita agilizar y optimizar los servicios clínicos del Colegio Universitario Colombiano en lo que se refiere a facilidad y organización de la información total de cada uno de los pacientes El proyecto abarca el almacenamiento completo y específico de las historias clínicas en una base de datos fácil y rápida actualización.
