This public entity offers Level I and II healthcare services to both enrolled and unenrolled patients in the municipalities of Chía and Cota, both within the Colombian General System of Social Security in Health (SGSSS). Its administrative areas and processes include a technology office responsible for managing the institution's platforms and technologies. Working in conjunction with the Cundinamarca Governorate and with the support of the municipal government, the San Antonio de Chía Hospital has been modernizing its facilities, updating its processes, and striving to maintain and improve the minimum licensing standards outlined in Resolution 2003 of 2014. The goal is to eventually achieve the higher quality standards of "accreditation," a component of the Quality Assurance System. In turn, the Ministry of Information and Communications Technologies has been advancing different intersectoral strategies for the technological support and development of the nation's entities. For the health sector, it has been promoting the Vive Digital 2014-2018 strategy, which aims to encourage the renewal of ICTs in the health sector and the formulation of plans that allow the development of ICT activities that guarantee universal access to health services.La Empresa Social del Estado Hospital San Antonio de Chía, es la entidad prestadora de servicios de salud IPS, del municipio de Chía Cundinamarca, entidad de carácter publico, ofrece servicios de I y II nivel de atención a la población afiliada y no afiliada SGSSS de los municipio de Chía y Cota, dentro de sus áreas y procesos administrativos cuenta con la oficina de tecnologías encargada de la administración de las plataformas y tecnologías de la institución. De la mano con el ente territorial la Gobernación de Cundinamarca y el apoyo del gobierno municipal, el hospital San Antonio de Chía, viene desarrollando actividades de modernización de sus instalaciones, actualización de sus procesos y trabajando por mantener y mejorar los estándares mínimos de habilitación descritos en la resolución 2003 de 2014 y poder llegar posteriormente al cumplimento de los estándares superiores de calidad “ ACREDITACION” componente del sistema del Garantía de la Calidad.
