This crisis caused many companies and organizations to have to make a series of decisions that would positively or negatively affect the future of their company and the country.A finales del año 2019 inició una enfermedad denominada COVID-19, que trajo con ella fuertes consecuencias no solo a nivel personal (salud) sino que también desencadenó efectos negativos en el comercio internacional, pues el fácil contagio de éste obligó a que la economía mundial tomará decisiones radicales para mitigar la propagación del virus que a su vez estaba acabando con muchas vidas, decisiones tan drásticas como cerrar puertos o fábricas que afectaron la economía mundial, pues los buques que llevaban mercancía a diferentes puntos geográficos quedaron en medio del mar sin poder llegar a su punto destino ni retornar a su país de origen generando así múltiples cuellos de botella que resultaron en una crisis, que afectó toda la cadena de suministro, de esta manera, se aumentó el precio de los fletes, materias primas y productos importados que generaron la inflación a nivel mundial.
