Objective: Review and analyze the evidence available in the literature of recent studies that evaluate the relationship between posture and malocclusion for determine their relationship. Method: Articles indexed in databases were considered. from data from PubMed, EMBASE, Science Direct, published from 2009 to 2021 with the words: Body posture Malocclusion / Oral Habits with the following search formula: Formula: ORTHODONTICS) AND (OCCLUSION)) OR (MALOCCLUSION)) AND (POSTURE)) OR (HEAD POSTURE. Results: Scientific literature was found that addresses the possible relationship between the alterations in body posture and malocclusions obtaining 958 results of which duplicates were discarded and those that did not comply with the inclusion criteria, in this way 6 articles were chosen for the revision. The selection of the articles was carried out by an evaluator. The articles that were chosen were obtained in full text in the English language. Conclusions: Most research suggests some type of relationship between changes in occlusion and body posture, although More research is necessary in this field.En las últimas décadas, se ha sugerido que los trastornos del sistema masticatorio, como las maloclusiones, pueden influir en la postura de todo el cuerpo. Objetivo: Revisar y analizar la evidencia disponible en la literatura de estudios recientes que evalúen la relación entre postura y maloclusión para determinar su relación. Método: Se consideraron artículos indexados en bases de datos de PubMed, EMBASE, Science Direct, publicados desde 2009 hasta 2021 con las palabras: Body posture Maloclusión / Oral Habits con la siguiente fórmula de búsqueda: Fórmula: ORTHODONTICS) AND (OCCLUSION)) OR (MALOCCLUSION)) AND (POSTURE)) OR (HEAD POSTURE. Resultados: Se encontró literatura científica que aborda la posible relación entre las alteraciones de la postura corporal y las maloclusiones obteniendo 958 resultados de los cuales se descartaron duplicados y aquellos que no cumplían con los criterios de inclusión, de esta forma se eligieron 6 artículos para la revisión. La selección de los artículos se realizó por un evaluador. Los artículos que fueron elegidos se obtuvieron en texto completo en idioma inglés.
