Contraindications to surgery, such as the patient's age, systemic diseases, psychological and immunological disorders, were also taken into account when carrying out this work. The surgical techniques used in a certain case, such as curettage, apical curettage, apicoectomy, retrograde obturation, hemisection and root amputation, were explained in detail, attaching slides and work material.Se consideraron las indicaciones de la Cirugía Endodóntica como son aquellos casos en los cuales el tratamiento convencional de conductos no soluciona la patología pulpar y periapical del diente afectado, sino que se debe recurrir a la cirugía Endodóntica. Las contraindicaciones de la cirugía como son la edad del paciente, enfermedades sistémicas, trastornos psicológicos e inmunológicos, también se tuvieron en cuenta al realizar este trabajo.
