To date, no study has been found that describes measurements obtained through spiral helical CT to evaluate the glenoid fossa in the Colombian population. Objective: To describe the measurements of the glenoid fossa obtained through spiral helical CT in patients aged 8 to 12 years with Class II Division 1 malocclusion. Materials and Methods: Cross-sectional study, 23 tomographic images of patients of both sexes, oveijet greater than or equal to 5 mm and ANB greater than 4°. Results: A relationship was found between: temporal spine angulation, articular eminence angulation, mediolateral and anteroposterior diameter of the fossa, fossa depth, and the distance between the temporal spine and the external auditory canal (EAC). Conclusions: There is an inversely proportional relationship between the temporal spine angulation and the articular eminence with the mediolateral and anteroposterior diameter of the fossa. The depth of the fossa is inversely proportional to the distance from the temporal spine to the EAC. It was observed that a greater temporal spine angulation is associated with a shorter distance between the temporal spine and the EAC, and that a greater fossa depth is associated with a greater temporal spine angulation. The mediolateral diameter of the glenoid fossa was greater in women than in men.
